The Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust is a non-profitable Charitable organisation established with the objective of providing education, training and research facilities to the people of India and abroad.

Considering the ever increasing demand for trained human resources, the Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust, Coimbatore has started the Dr.N.G.P. Arts & Science College at Dr.N.G.P. Nagar, Kalapatti Road, Coimbatore-35 from the academic year 1997-98. The College envisage to augment the human resources through inter disciplinary problem oriented and student centered training, extension and consultancy programme. Dr.N.G.P. Arts & Science College has been recognized by the Goverment of Tamilnadu and Affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
