About the college
Considering the ever increasing demand for trained human resources, the Kovai Medical Center Research & Educational Trust. Coimbatore, started Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College at Dr. N.G.P. Kalapatti Road, Coimbatore – 35 in the year 1997 with four Under Graduate. M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes besides a number of job-oriented Certificate, Diploma and PG Diploma programmes in the college.

The College envisages to augment the human resources through inter disciplinary, problem oriented and student centered training, extension and consultancy programme. Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College has been recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu, affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and it is an ISO 9001 : 2000 certified institution.

The vision of Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College is to engrave Character and Value Based Education in the minds of students to manifest the perfection already in them. To empower excellent in providing Higher Education and Research by the standard of University.
